This is part of a lesson in my human philosophy class. It is "inspirational"for me because it is logical proof that God exists.
Cosmological Argument
Developed by St. Aquinas
- Premise 1: every effect must have a cause
- Premise 2: either there has been an “infinite regress” of causation throughout time, or there was a first cause of the entire chain
- Premise 3: An infinite regress defines logical comprehension
- Conclusion: therefore there must be a first cause of all things-god
