Inspiration - Week 13
"Every artist was first an amateur."

We all start somewhere.....
Inspiration - Week 13
This time of year inspires me. People seem to care about others just a little bit more. Almost every little town has some sign saying something to the effect of "Seasons Greetings." It makes me smile and think of some small town every time. Holiday music and movies everywhere almost always have happy endings and its just comforting.
Inspiration - Week 12
"No elderly person I've ever spoken to has ever regretted a risk they have taken, they have only regretted risks they have not taken."

Inspiration-Week 11
I attended a Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass) Holocaust Commemoration today. A Holocaust survivor was displeased with the commemoration and vented to me for a short time after. He did not know how or who to express him self. I could tell that he has spend his whole life trying to understand something that will never be understood by him, or anyone truly. It was heartbreaking and I had no idea what to say. My short interaction looking into his eyes and hearing the pain in his voice was a reminder for me to appreciate everything and to not be bothered by the stupid little things that are blown out of proportion in the days of my life and the lives of the people around me.
Life is a fragile, precious, gift. This is important to remember.
His inability to escape negatively lead to commemoration and positivity for me. Speaking to him for one minute meant more to me than did the two hour ceremony....

To know what people really think, pay regard to what they do, rather than what they say.
